The Invisalign Process
During your initial consultation with your Dentist about Invisalign, we will take X-rays of your mouth and create an impression of your teeth to get a full picture. Your Orthodontist will create an individualized treatment plan and your aligners will be made.
Unlike traditional Braces, there is no painful application procedure. Using your 3D molds, your doctor will design a system of nearly invisible aligners that fit securely over your teeth while providing a small amount of specific pressure to guide your teeth into place. Your aligners are designed to gradually shift your teeth over time, so you will change your aligners every one to two weeks as directed. Your orthodontist will often provide you with several weeks of aligners in advance, so there is no need to come back to the office for painful readjustment procedures.
With Invisalign, you don’t ever have to worry about what you eat during the process!. Simply remove your aligners before eating a meal or snacking and replace them when you’re done! We also recommend removing them while drinking anything other than water to avoid staining. Wearing your aligners consistently is key to the success of the Invisalign process. Your aligners must be worn for at least 22 hours a day or you risk your teeth reshifting. Only remove your aligners to eat, drink, and clean your teeth and you will be on the fastest path to perfect teeth!
After The Process

Just like with traditional braces treatment, wearing a retainer is the only way to prevent shifting and the undoing all your hard work. Unlike traditional metal retainers, our Invisalign retainers are designed to be as comfortable and discreet as possible. Initially, some patients may require the consistent wearing of the retainer.
